The Daily News has been named a finalist for the 2014 Crown Awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
The DN and The Indiana Daily Student are the only two finalists from Indiana from among the 15 print-online publications named this week.
CSPA said Wednesday it had 1,236 entries for the contest.
Finalists will receive either a Gold or Silver Crown Award during the College Media Convention held March 12-15 in New York City.
